James Brown Jr., and Shamika Thomas of Kennett, announce the birth of their son, Orlando Tyawn Jayquen Brown, born June 24, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

He weighed 6 pounds and 3 ounces and was 18 inches long.

He is the grandson of Ruthie Thomas and Dexter and Maurice and Linda Gross, all of Kennett.

He is welcomed home by three siblings, Kaydeija, Kedayai and Tuleigh.
