Robert Henry Hesselrode, 85, of Kennett, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born July 25, 1920, in Charleston, Mo., he was the son of the late Walter Eli and Effie Pickens Hesselrode.
On Oct. 19, 1942, he married Dorothy Moxley, who preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Brannam and one brother, Dub Hesselrode.
Survivors include one son, Bob Hesselrode and wife, Billie, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Michael Brannam and Stacy Hesselrode, both of Ft. Collins, Colo., Shelly Bogle, of Charleston, S.C., and Adam Hesselrode, of Nashville, Tenn., and three great-grandchildren, Bailey and Briley Bogle and Davis Hesselrode.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett with Spencer Furby officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lulu Cemetery in Senath, Mo.
Pallbearers are Jerry Hesselrode, Mark Hesselrode, Adam Hesselrode, Phil McMillion, Frank Stuart and Rick Gore.
