Dorothy Ruth Worrell, 64, of Rives, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Hornersville, Mo.
Born Nov. 9, 1940, in Lutts, Tenn., daughter of Ruth Wright Patterson and the late Floyd Patterson, she was a member of the Samford Church of Christ in Steele, Mo.
On July 17, 1957, she married Parker Worrell, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Steve Worrell and Stuart Worrell, both of Rives; one daughter, Tina Davis, of Kennett; five brothers, Paul Patterson, of Florence, Ala., Ganes Patterson and Elton Patterson, both of Kennett, Donald Patterson, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jerry Patterson, of Hornersville; three sisters, Margie Davis, of Hornersville, Gennive McCrary, of Dallas, Ga., and Martha Scott, of Powder Springs, Ga.; two half-sisters, Alene Putnam and Lorene Davis, both of Florence, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Lauren House, Zach Worrell, Molly and Natalie Davis, Hannah, Abby and Macey Worrell and 25 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one half-brother, Herbert Patterson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the Samford Church of Christ in Steele with Tim Howard officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
Pallbearers were David Daniels, Bobby Ketchum, Terry Scott and Keith Scott, Jason Hampton and Howard Henry.
