Ruth Deck, 74, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Dec. 2, 1930, in Melbourne, Ark., she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Cooper Mynatt.

On Dec. 4, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jimmie Deck, who preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Survivors include three sons, Tommie and Billie Deck, both of Senath and Johnie Leon Deck, of Benton, Ark., and eight grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jarred, Zachary, Michael, Michelle, Matthew, Kimberly and Emily Deck.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 11, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with the Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were R.W. McLain, Mike Todd, Don Wallace, Frank Dunivan, Bill Lewis, Paul Stout and Roddy Holmes.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
