Bobby Gene James Sr., 73, of Wardell, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at his residence.

Born Feb. 9, 1932, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of the late W.O. and Eva Vickers James, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was employed at the Pemiscot Hospital.

On June 23, 1963, in Wardell, he married Judy Robinson, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Bobby Gene James Jr., and wife, Kelsey, of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Butler and Husband, Lyndell, of Wardell and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Stacy Carol James and two brothers, Jim Mac and William Vickers.

A private family graveside service was held Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Memorial Cemetery in Wardell.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Wardell was in charge of arrangements.
