She was employed by Memorial Hospital in Kennett as a nurses aid. She had also worked as a beautician. She was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Winifred Golightly, of Cape Girardeau; one son, Dennis Wayne Moore, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Alceba Benson, of Clarkton, Mo., and Louise Stanfield, of Bonne Terre, Mo.; four grandchildren, Roxanne Kasten, of Jackson, Mo., Jamey Turner, of De Soto, Ill., Brock Turner, of Cape Girardeau and Michael Moore, of Arizona; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents and one brother, Lawrence Gamblin.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating.
Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
