Nathan Tutt attends training in Columbia

Nathan Tutt, a new employee from the Kennett USDA Rural Development office attended recent training in Columbia, Mo. The purpose of the training was to provide an overview on the vast array of programs available to assist rural residents. Specific training was provided on the rural housing, multi-family housing, community facilities, business and industry, and the water and wastewater programs.

Greg Branum, Missouri State Director for USDA Rural Development, said, "It is essential to provide our new employees the proper training to be able to match our programs to the needs of  rural residents, businesses and communities, said Greg Branum, state director for USDA Rural Development.

He added, "The agency is pleased to be able to employ Nathan Tutt to assist the rural residents."

Tutt will be working out of the Kennett office covering Dunklin and Pemiscot counties.

He started his career with Rural Development in August, 2004.
