Mary Lee Walker, 81, of Gideon, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born Jan. 2, 1924, in Blodgett, Mo., daughter of the late Harvey Larkin and Lillian Lonia Elizabeth Brumley Huey, she was employed at Fletcher Gin and Gideon-Anderson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gideon.

On July 7, 1946, in Benton, Mo., she married Calvin Walker, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Johnny Larkin Walker and wife, Patricia Ann, of Russellville, Ark., and Michael Calvin Walker and wife, Gloria Kay, of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Virginia Kirsch, of Columbia, Mo.; one grandson, Jason Walker, of Russellville and Rana Suezanne Walker, of Washington, D.C.

Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at the First Baptist Church in Gideon with the Rev. Kelly Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Gideon.
