Chris and Brandy Rister of Kennett announce the birth of their son, Jackson Blayne Rister, born Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He weighed 7 pounds and 5 ounces and was 19 inches long.

He is the grandson of Bill and Phyllis Johns of Holcomb, Mo., and Joe and Debbie Rister of Kennett.
