Dollie Lou Peeler, 73, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at St. Louis, Mo.
Born Dec. 19, 1931, in Camden, Tenn., daughter of the late Enlon and Neener Swift Morris, she ran the Tennessee Inn and ran the kitchen at the Caruthersville Shipyard. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.
She married Junior Clarence Goodale, who preceded her in death and later married Dub Peeler, who also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include her nine children, Jerry Wayne Goodale and wife, Nora, of Belle Glade, Fla., Donald Ray Goodale and wife, Lois, Lloyd Edwin Goodale, Richard Clarence Goodale and wife, Dawn, and Carl Lee Goodale and wife, Nancy, all of Caruthersville, Janelda Lynn Walker and husband, Robert, of San Antonio, Texas, Larry Walter Goodale and wife, Brenda, of Bragg City, Mo., Carol Lou Craig and husband, Shane, of Texas and Kenneth Steven Goodale and wife, Angie, of Steele, Mo.; one brother, L.V. Morris, of Florida; one sister, Georgia Morris, of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 5, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Caruthersville with Bill Greer officiating.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
