Wanda Gill

Wanda Fay Gill, 60, of Holcomb, Mo., died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late James Garland and Frances Dollie Dollins Waynick.

On Feb. 2, 1991, she married Delbert H. Gill, who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Waynick and three sisters, Shirley Watson, Hattie Sweetland and one in infancy.

Survivors include three sons, Eddie Gill and wife, Martha, of Parma, Mo., Donnie Gill and wife, Karen, of Tallapoosa, Mo., and Bobby Gill and wife, Ramona, of Mt. Pleasant, Tenn.; seven daughters, Dollie Proctor and husband, Jimmy, of Bosworth, Mo., Myrtle Politte, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Nancy Foraker and husband, Patrick, of Holcomb, Barbara Brant and husband, Sam, of Tallapoosa, Patty Black, of Lilbourn, Mo., and Connie Hamilton and husband, Pete, of Evans, Ga.; two sisters, Sharon Farney of Evans, Ga. and Bethel Jordan and husband, Larry, of Gatewood, Mo.; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Don Emery officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Aaron Waynick, Jon Waynick, Terry Watson, Donny Gill, Patrick Foraker, Charles Politte and Jimmy Jordan.
