Paul Dewayne Waddell, 70, of Fisk, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Born March 23, 1935, in Holcomb, Mo., son of the late Ernest and Gertrude Toole Waddell, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include one brother, Hal Waddell, of Florissant, Mo., and five sisters, Drace Elliott, of Kennett, Erma Vanderbilt, of Gideon, Mo., Inez Pace, of Malden, Mo., Doris Davidson, of Pocahontas, Ark., and Annece Wojcik, of San Jose, Calif.

He was preceded in death by one son, Wright Wesley Waddell; one daughter, Joyce Lynn Waddell; one brother, Oral Ernest Waddell and three sisters, Correne Miller, Marie Hart and Neva Dunscombe.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the First Baptist Church in Gideon with the Rev. Kelly Reed officiating.

White-Sanders Funeral Home of Fisk was in charge of arrangements.
