Brent Austin Robinson, 34, of Alton, Mo., formerly of Kennett, died Friday, July 29, 2005.
Born Dec. 9, 1970, in Kennett, son of Brady and Marjorie Winters Robinson, he was a graduate of Holcomb High School, received a bachelor of arts in biology from the University of Mo. in Kansas City, masters in public administration from Arkansas State University and he attended Memphis Theological Seminary. He was a community development specialist with the University of Missouri Extension, and was a member of the Bootheel Shriners and Holcomb Farmers and Merchants. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Kennett, recently became commissioned deacon at the Missouri Annual Conference and was active in Volunteer in Mission program through the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Taylor Elizabeth and Cassidy Shay Robinson, both of Kennett; his parents, Brady and Marjorie Robinson of Kennett; two brothers, Nicholas Robinson and wife, Ada, of Kennett and Brad Robinson of Maryland Heights, Mo. and one niece, Amy Robinson, of Kennett.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Barron Willer, Paul Lanning, David Scott and Jack Gray officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Lanny Watson, Tom Harmon, Jim Breedon, Brian Holt, Jason Martin and Marcus Hopkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Bob Dement, J.H. Dye, J.B. Robertson, Doug Pigmon, Brandon Wallace, Don Watson, Max Clark, John Wheeler and Jim Pemberton.
