Velma Pattilo, 89, of Farmington, Mo., formerly of Kennett and Dexter, Mo., died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington.
Born Aug. 17, 1915, in Dunklin County, Mo., daughter of the late J.W. and Lena Moody Westmorlan, she was a homemaker and a member of the Sunnyview Church of Christ in Farmington.
On Nov. 7, 1933, in Kennett, she married Therlo Herbert Pattilo, who preceded her in death on June 20, 1991. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Lee and Curt Westmorlan and one sister, Gladys Benfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine Cole, of Farmington; one sister, Aline Craig, of Kennett; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Grissom officiating.
Burial will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.
