Edna Pearl Santie, 85, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at her residence.
Born April 13, 1920, in Malden, daughter of the late Dock M. and Lillie Hall Boner, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Malden.
On Dec. 23, 1942, in Dexter, Mo., she married Amos E. Santie, who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2003. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; two sisters, Elizabeth Taylor and Opal Lewis; one brother, Gerald Boner and one great-granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, Phil Santie and wife, Judy and Steve Santie and wife, Gina, all of Malden; one daughter, Jan Maddox and husband, Doug, of Malden; three brothers, Ivan "Doc" Boner and Garth Boner and wife, Carolyn, all of Arroyo Grande, Calif., and Owen "Bo" Boner, of Hawthorne, Calif.; one sister, Shirley Robbins, of Benton, Ark.; five grandchildren, Miayn Beaird, Sabrina Harris and Tyler Sante, all of Malden, John Santie, of Branson, Mo., and Lori Nicholson, of Marion, Ark., and six great-grandchildren, Jordan and Ashley Beaird, Aubree and Lydia Harris and Jace and Zack Nicholson.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, July 21, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the Church of Christ in Malden with the Rev. David McElwain officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
