Louise Winchester, 67, of Gideon, Mo., died Saturday, July 16, 2005, at the Gideon Care Center.
Born May 8, 1938, in Gideon, daughter of the late Robert F. and Emma Meek Shafer, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarkton, Mo.
On April 14, 1956, she married Thomas Gerald Winchester, who preceded her in death on Sept. 1, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Daniel Shafer and one sister, Kathryn Lorene Brown.
Survivors include one daughter, Robin Murphy and husband, Ed, of Malden, Mo.; two sons, Mike Winchester and wife, Pam, of Clarkton, Mo., and Tim Winchester and wife, Carla, of Gideon; one sister, Hattie Anderson, of Clarkton; five grandchildren, Amy Cowart, of Clarkton, Tommy Winchester, of Malden, Brent Winchester, of Kennett and Kristen and Matt Winchester, both of Gideon and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Revs. Richard Blagg and Steve Bricker officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
