Myrna Jean Parks, 64, of Kennett, Mo., died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born December 3, 1940, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Ira R. Burdin and Opal Ethel Goldsmith Burdin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Jerry Johnson, Lindell, Windell and Jimmy Burdin and one sister, Arlene Guthrie.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Parks of Kennett; two brothers, Joe Burdin of Rockford, Ill. and Dwight Burdin of North Caroline; two sisters, Diane Jones of Kennett and Barbara Davis of Kennett.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 11, at the McDaniel Funeral Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was held in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
