June Huggins, 83, of Lake Village, Ark., died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.

Born Jan. 25, 1922, at Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late Duamond and Wilma Pirtle Walker, she was a homemaker, bank employee and secretary for Lake Village Baptist Church.

She married Juston Laverne Huggins who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, L.D. Walker and Don Walker, and one sister, Lucille McKelvie.

Surviving are three sons, Dennis Huggins of Lake Village, David Huggins of Russia and Don Higgins of Little Rock; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 12, at Lake Village Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Bell officiating.

Burial will follow in Holy Innocents Cemetery under direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
