Juanita Bertha Farris, 78, of Wardell, Mo., died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.

Born Dec. 24, 1926, in Wardell, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Lillie G. Rhoades Hill.

On Oct. 4, 1941, in Caruthersville, Mo., she married James Farris, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Donnie Farris, of St. Charles, Mo.; one granddaughter, Tina Cofer, of St. Charles and two great grandsons, Nicholas Farris and Joshua House, both of St. Charles.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Carl, J.L., Donald, Tony, Doyle and James Hill and one granddaughter, Gina Renee Farris.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, July 8, at the Baptist Church in Wardell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Baptist Church with the Rev. Griff Walker officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Cemetery in Wardell.
