Dorothy "Dottie" Waller, 80, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born April 16, 1925, in Rector, Ark., daughter of the late J.W. Queen, she was in the real estate and banking business. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden.
On Oct. 25, 1940, in Piggott, Ark., she married Jack Waller, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2004.
Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Dirks and husband, Charles, of Malden; six grandchildren, Tracie Wilson, Stephanie Mungle and Jessica Waller, all of Malden, John Waller and Rhonda Mitchell, both of Sikeston, Mo., and Jayson Snider, of McGee, Ark., and eight great-grandchildren, Jackson and Sarah Wilson, Seth and Sydney Mungle, Jayson and Jackson Snider, Abbey Shelton and Thomas Mitchell.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jared Owens and Stan Wood officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Memorials may be made to the Bootheel Youth Museum, Malden Historical Museum or the United Methodist Church.
