Doris Lovelace Bailey, 69, of Senath, Mo., died Thursday, June 30, 2005, at Senath Nursing Center in Senath.

Born May 30, 1936, at Senath, she was a daughter of the late James Paul and Marie Bone Lovelace.

On Dec. 2, 1989, in Senath, she married Bobby Bailey who survives.

Other survivors are one son, Jeff Ashabranner of Clarkton, Mo.; one daughter, Darlene Chailland and husband, Dennis, of Caruth, Mo.; three sisters, Pauling Higgins and Phyllis Lell, both of Senath and Sue Long of Monette, Ark.; five grandchildren, Brittany, Shantelle, Brandon and Danielle Ashabranner and Brandy Chailland; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Ashabranner.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Ashabranner.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating.

Burial was in Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Junior Jaco, Tim Dinkins, Ricky Matchelor, Kenny Wycoff, Jerry Eveland, Gary Curtright and Joe Chandler.
