Dorothy Davidson, 69, of Kennett, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 25, 1935, at Kennett, a daughter of Cecil Bulla Hollingsworth Wallace of Kennett and the late John Wallace, she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In February 1995 she married James Chester Davidson who survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Connie Smith of Kennett and Bette Parker and husband, John, of Brownsville, Texas; one brother, Larry Wallace of Kennett; two sisters, Pat Riggs of Texarkana, Ark. and Debbie Robertson of Kennett; four grandchildren, Alex Jefferson, Cory and John Smith and Christopher Parker; and one great-grandchild, Jazmine Williams.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, July 3, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
