Geraldine Adkins

Geraldine "Curley" Adkins, of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at the Senath Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 26, 1920, in Senath, daughter of the late Harvey Oscar and Tommie Dee Faulkner Storey, she was a nurse in the U.S. Navy.

On Nov. 22, 1947, in Senath, she married Bob Adkins, who preceded her in death on April 29, 1996. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Joe, Raymond, Harry, Bill and Paul Wayne Storey and one sister, Alma Jean Rhodes.

Survivors include one son, Mike Adkins, of Louisiana; one grandson, Michael Adkins; one great-granddaughter, Alex Adkins and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, June 29, at the McGrew Cemetery in Senath with the Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
