Minnie Lue Boyd, 95, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Pemiscot County, Mo., died Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Clarksville.
Born Aug. 29, 1909, in Columbus, Miss., daughter of the late James and Mary Swanigan Thomas, she was a homemaker..
In 1928, she married Earnest Boyd, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Elbert, Fred, Lewis and Thomas Boyd, all of Denver, Colo., Roosevelt Boyd, of Cheyenne, Wyo., Hazel Lee Childs, of Clarksville, Clifford and Otha Boyd, of Memphis, Tenn., James Boyd, of Independence, Kan., Edwin Boyd, of Columbus, Ohio, Virginia Vinson, of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Dorothy Keyes, of Carmichael, Calif.; 42 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 25, at the Cedar Baptist Church in Hayti, Mo., with the Rev. Darion Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hayti.
Pallbearers are Albert, Fred, Clifford, Edwin, James and Lamar Boyd.
