Jean Morse, 62, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born May 9, 1943, in Sardis, Tenn., daughter of the late Elvis and Lectra Tomblin, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She married Jessie Morris, who survives of the home.
Survivors also include two sons, Michael Morse and wife, Donna, of Steele and David Morse and wife, Jackie, of Caruthersville, Mo.; one daughter, Michelle Turner, of Steele; two brothers, Billy and Tommy Austin, both of Avon Park, Fla.; three sisters, Patricia and Peggy Austin and Gloria Bateman, all of Avon Park and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Joe Austin and one sister, Betty Eldridge.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, June 121, at the Bradshaw Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with the Rev. Jeremy Danesworth officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
