Born Feb. 15, 1944, at Kennett, he was a son of the late Artie and Leora Noble Walls.
On Sept. 9, 1962, at Kennett, he married Helen Bryant, who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Stephanie Walls Poindexter and husband, Heath, of Sikeston, Mo.; seven sisters, Betty Hall of Temecula, Calif., Wanda White of Pine Bluff, Ark., Margaret Ephlin and husband, J.B. of Ft. Worth, Texas; Barbara Pace and husband, Ray, of Woodstock, Ga., Glenda Fry and husband, Jerry, of McComb, Miss., Judy Holland and husband, D.J., of West Memphis, Tenn. and Sherry Butler and husband, Doug, of Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren, Larry Daniel "Trey" Walls III of Gideon, Mo., Morgan, Georgia and Heath Alan Poindexter of Sikeston; and two great-grandchildren, Landyn and Braxtyn Walls.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Daniel Walls Jr., and one brother, Ardith Lee Walls.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. today, Sunday, June 19, at Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston until time of services at 2 p.m., with Brothers Dennis Lowe and Johnny Hester officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers will be Tom Ratledge, David Ratledge, Glyn Ferrell, Nick Fincher, Kennett Bartlett and David Selvig. Honorary pallbearers are Pop McPherson, Steve Atwill, Don Moore, Gary Ratledge and Lee Pattengill.
