A music and classroom teacher for 50 years, she taught music at St. Teresa School, Glennonville, 1944-48. She taught in many schools in the Louisville Archdiocese and Owensboro Diocese in Kentucky. She also directed the Suzuki violin program at Brescia College, Owensboro, Ky., and served as director of the museum at Mount Saint Joseph. She retired in 2003.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, and the members of her religious community.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 17, at Mount Saint Joseph, where visitation will begin today, June 16, at 4 p.m., with a wake service following at 6:30 p.m.
