Barbara Schwartz

Born Sept. 6, 1946, in Hayti, daughter of the late Edward Lankford and Arthie Ovella kettles Johnson, she was employed at Brown Shoe Company and a member of the Hayti First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Thomas Schwartz Jr., and wife, Tammy, of Bassett, Ark.; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Schwartz, of Hayti; two brothers, Clifton Johnson, of Cherokee Village, Ark., and Charles Johnson, of Woodland Mills, Tenn.; one sister, Vivian Smith, of Hayti and two grandchildren, Benjamin Lee Thompson and Daena Elizabeth Cole, both of Hayti.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Dr. James Adams officiating.
