Rita Faye Davis, 62, of Tallapoosa, Mo., died Monday, June 13, 2005, at her residence.

Born March 8, 1943, in Hartford, Mich., she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Gladys Pauline Jackson Paskel.

In 1961, she married Fred Davis, who preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Fred Davis Jr., and Fairin Davis, both of Tallapoosa; two daughters, Marlie Shepherd and Aleshia Miller, both of Tallapoosa; companion, Charlie Tuck; two brothers, Donnie Paskel, of Frankford, Ky., and Jim Paskel, of Advance, Mo.; to sisters, Shirley Miller, of Malden, Mo., and Diana Pikey, of Advance; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 14, at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo., with the Rev. Wayne Gilmore officiating.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
