Babara Fincher

Barbara Ann Fincher, 70, of Hayti, Mo., died Friday, June 10, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Born March 11, 1935, in East Prairie, Mo., daughter of the late Dewey and Mable Smith King, she was a teacher with Family Counseling.

She married Verlin Fincher, who preceded her in death in 1982. She later married Elbert Clayton, who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Winford Lynn and Melburn Lee Fincher; one Sandra Fincher; six sisters, Juanita, Kathalleen, Alma, Urma, Jane and Steela and one brother, Roy David.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Fincher, of Paragould, Ark.; five daughters, Verline Smith, of Hohenwald, Tenn., Janis Crymes, of Portageville, Mo., Donna Fincher, of Kennett, Elaine Boone, of Rives and Melba Jane Fincher; 11 brothers and sisters, Irene, Mable, Dorthia, Jeanette, Ronald, Paul, Daniel Ray, Marvine, Martha, Micheal and Coleen; special friend, Rodney Lahue, of Hayti, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Pastor Margre Ramsey officiating.

Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.

Pallbearers were Derek Waller, Dustin Fincher, Michael Bea, Ray Doan, Troy Blurton and Jackie Blurton.
