"Buddy" Glen Edward McClish, 54, of Kennett, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 2, 1951, in Senath, Mo., son of the late Joe and Blance Kelly McClish, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a mechanic for John Deere in Kennett.

On July 12, 1988, in Kennett, he married Gayla Medley, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Jason McClish, of St. Louis, Mo., and Phillip McClish, of Kennett; one daughter, Stacy McClish, of St. Louis; one step-daughter, Christina Houihan and husband, William, of Kennett; one brother, Billy Joe McClish and wife, Connie, of Kennett; one half-brother, David Sackett, of Jonesboro, Ark.; two sisters, Dorothy Brotherton and husband, Robert, of Kennett and Hazel McClish, of Piedmont, Mo. and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Buddy Smith McClish.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Paul Gardner, Paul Moris, Sean Winkle, Ira Lucas, Jeff Small and Tim Higgins.

Honorary pallbearers were George Stonick and Myron Beaver.
