First General Baptist welcomes new pastor

A special installation and dedication service for Brother John Kruger and his family will be held Sunday, June 12, at First General Baptist Church in Kennett. This will be followed by a dinner at the church.

The Krugers arrived in Kennett June 10 from Michigan.

Their home church is in Farmington and the family is very glad to be returning to the state.

Brother Kruger has 26 years of pastoral experience and is veteran of the armed forces. Sister Kruger is a registered nurse. The couple has two sons, two daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Since accepting the call to Kennett, Kruger has been traveling from Michigan each weekend to serve the local church. His wife joined him whenever possible.

The Krugers love the outdoors, gardening, rock collecting, hiking and other recreational activities.
