Betty Louise Brixey, 76, of Troy, Mo., died Friday, June 10, 2005, at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab.

Born Sept. 18, 1928, in Allenton, Mo., she was the only child of the late Julius Jesse and Mildred Louise Fowler Williams. She graduated from high school in Kennett and was an accountant. She was a member of Troy Presbyterian Church, Evangeline Federated Club, American Legion, Chautauqua Reading Circle, Friends of Lincoln Medical Center, Troy Chapter 405 Order of Eastern Star and several bridge clubs.

Surviving are one daughter, Mary Louise Evans and husband, Larry, of Silex, Mo.; two sons, Charles Robert Penn and wife, Lucretia, of Manchester, Mo. and Walter Edward Gordon and wife, Kim, of Marion, S.C.; six grandchildren, Robert and Richard Evans, Devin, Marisa and Cody Penn and Landon Gordon.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2005, at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home-Troy Chapel.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Troy Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Gatewood Cemetery in St. Louis.
