Born July 10, 1946, in Campbell, son of the late Chalmer C. and Thelma Daffron Cashion, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and a truck driver. He was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church in Holcomb, Mo.
On July 10, 1988, in Campbell, he married Thelma Lee Holland, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Charles Ray Cashion, of Campbell; three daughters, Ginger Sue Carle, of Quitman, Ark., Angela Harmon, of Malden, Mo., and Kenna Cashion, of Campbell; three step-daughters, Lisa Higgs, of Heber Springs, Ark., Sandra Bradley, of Campbell, Mo., and Sue Fischel, of Springfield, Ill.; one step-son, Randall Williams, of Springfield, Ill.; two brothers, Doyle Ray and Charles Robert Cashion, both of Campbell, and 16 grandchildren, Dakota, Charles Emitt, Edward Mason Ray, Alexia Rae and Chantel Elizabeth Cashion, Lennie Avert, Kentlee Ray Harmon, Russell and Jessie Davis, Whitney Coldasure, Ron, Randy and Patrick Higgs and Kayla, Joshua and Adam Fischel.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Kentlee R.B. Cashion and Kenneth C. Cashion Jr.; one brother, Gary Franklin Cashion and one sister, Ada Sue Buchanan.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, June 12, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bronk Simpson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
