Annis Alma Harkey, 99, of Springfield, Mo., died Monday, Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Manor Care.

Born April 12, 1906, in Bingham, Ill., daughter of the late Cyrus and Melissa Meyer Hicks, she was employed with J.C. Penney and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church.

On March 31, 1934, she married Frank S. Harkey, who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1976. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Irene, Linda and Ruby and three brothers, Oran, John and Clovis.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at the Senath Cemetery with the Rev. Andrew Lovins officiating.

McDaniel Funeral home of Senath is in charge of arrangements.
