Richard Breland

Richard Malcolm Breland, 52, of Dexter, Mo., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died at his home Wednesday, June 1, 2005.

Born July 31, 1952, at Willow Springs, Mo., he was a son of Bonnie Johnson Crayne of Russellville, Ark., and the late Richard C. Breland. He was a former employee of Chrisman Art Gallery in Dexter.

Other survivors include one son, Richard W. Breland of Dexter; one daughter, Michelle Patereau of Turlock, Calif.; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Ernest Crayne of Russellville; one brother, Rev. Dennis Breland of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one sister, Evelyn Kay Sparks of Russellville and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Lynn Cummins.

Visitation is 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 6, at the Rainey-Mathes Funeral Chapel in Dexter.

A memorial service will held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Rainey-Mathes Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Breland officiating.
