Leola Virginia Williamson Henley, 85, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, May 30, 2005, at her residence.
Born September 23, 1919, in Dryden, Ark., daughter of the late William Daniel and Lillis Ivie Williamson, she worked at the Watts Nursing Home and Colony Market Place until her retirement in 1986.
She was married to Claude Henley, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Survivors include four sons, Jim Henley of Huntley, Ill., Bryce Henley of Gwinn, Mich., Bobby Henley of Marengo, Iowa and Roger Henley of Shorewood, Ill.; nine daughters, Kathy Hannah of Senath, Sally Grant of Webster, Iowa, Ella Kieser of Marengo, Iowa, June Mason of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Betty Russell of WIlliamsberg, Iowa, Wanda Raybold of Brazel, Ind., Brenda Knoch of Tiffin, Iowa, Nancy Keegan of Ozark, Mo. and Sue Rider of Marengo, Iowa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters.
Funeral services were held today, Thursday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at the McDaniel Chapel in Senath with Rev. Gerald Knock officiating.
Burial was in the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark.
Grandchildren served as pallbearers.
