Joy Jean Tippett, 74, of Malden, Mo., died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at the Senath Nursing Home in Senath, Mo.

Born June 17, 1930, in Rives, Mo., daughter of the late Cecil and Marie Leathers Snider, she was of the Baptist faith.

In 1953, she married Marion Tippett, who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1989.

Survivors include one daughter, Regina Bostic of Wilson, Ark.; one grandson, Shane Sanford of Memphis, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Sarah Sanford of Wilson, Ark. and one great-grandson, Akira Sanford of Memphis, Tenn.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. till service time today, Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at the Bradshaw Chapel with the Rev. Richard Biagg officiating.

Burial will follow at the Park Cemetery in Malden.
