Gene Lorraine Caneer Neufeld, 81, of Peublo, Colo., formerly of Senath, Mo., died Friday, May 13, 2005 at Peublo.

Born June 5, 1923, in Senath, she was the daughter of the late John Brady and Pearl Edmonston Caneer.

On Feb. 24, 1991, she married John E. Neufeld, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Gloria Davison and husband, Ivan; one brother, Robert Caneer and wife, Faye; one sister, Elizabeth Johnson; four grandchildren, Joe, Tim, Chris and Nichole and one great-grandchild, Isaac.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, J.B. and Alonzo Caneer and one sister, Mildred Caneer.

Graveside services were held Tuesday in the Senath Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
