J.C. Hamilton, 81, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born July 5, 1923, at Hector, Ark., a son of the late William Elmer and Nanny Mae Heathcock Hamilton, he was a farmer and veteran of World War II during which he served with the U.S. Army. He attended Pleasant View General Baptist Church at Risco, Mo.
On March 1, 1958, at Malden, he married Jackie Ray who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter Debbie White and husband, Jeff, of Malden; and two grandchildren, Kelly White and Kyle White, both of Malden.
Visitation is 4 p.m. today, Sunday, May 22, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Marty Carlisle and Joe Williams officiating.
Burial, with military rites, will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
