Grandville Bost

Grandville Wayne Bost, 74, of Senath, Mo., died Friday, May 13, 2005, at his residence.

Born Nov. 21, 1930, in Senath, son of the late Al and Lydia Guen Bost, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

In April, 1991, he married Norma Harmon, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Bryan Bost and wife, Ella, of Montrose, Mich., and William Root and wife, Kathy, of Flint, Mich.; five daughters, Terry Root, of Davison, Mich., Bonnie Matthews and husband, Ron, of Woodard, Okla., Janet Gipson and husband, Tim, of Manila, Ark., Robin Parker and husband, Dale, of Monette, Ark., and Debbie Garrant and husband, Norm, of Flint; one brother, William Bost, of Ft. Myers, Fla. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Roger Bost; one daughter, Sherry; two brothers, Winford and Don Bost and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with James Powell officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Steve Bost, Don Bost II, Dennis Johnson, Eddie Eaton, Chris Duncan and Eric Parker.
