Michelle Lee Smith Crews, 33, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, May 13, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Dec. 10, 1971, in St. Louis, daughter of Leonard Smith and Brenda Garner Hester, she was a CNA and of the Baptist faith.

On Feb. 16, 1993, in Piggott, Ark., she married Manuel Crews, who survives.

Survivors also include her mother and stepfather, Charles and Brenda Hester, of Malden; father and step-mother, Leonard and Laura Smith, of Bernie, Mo.; father and step-mother, Gary and Rita Robinson, of Greenville, Mo.; one sister, Monica Smith, of Campbell, Mo.; one brother, Christopher Smith, of Bernie and grandparents, Houston and Geneva Smith, of Bernie.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, May 17, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Stan Dauck officiating.

Burial was in the Bernie Cemetery.
