Omer Conrad Stenger, 68, of Monett, Mo., formerly of Glennonville, Mo., died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at his residence.
Born Dec. 1, 1936, in Glennonville, son of Margaret Koeller Stenger Alexander and the late Charles Stenger, he was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Maritta Day, of Troy, Mo., and Melissa Clausner, of St. Charles, Mo.; three sons, Charles Stenger, of St. Charles, Joel Stenger, of Foristell, Mo., and Benjamin Stenger, of Webster Groves, Mo.; mother, Margaret Stenger Alexander, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; four brothers, Stephen Stenger, of St. Louis, Mo., Louis and Arthur Stenger, both of Poplar Bluff and Lester Stenger, of St. Clair, Mo.; a half-brother, Richard Alexander, of Waunkee, Wis.; a step-brother, Charles Duane Alexander, of Poplar Bluff; six sisters, Carolyn Talbott, of Defiance, Mo., Joan Nix, of Rockford, Ill., Annette Eaton, of Poplar Bluff, Mary Ann Seely, of O'Fallon, Mo., Belinda Graves, of Windsor, Colo., and Norene Leonard, of Bonne Terre, Mo.; his ex-wife, Melba Stenger, of Foristell; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville with Father Glen Eftink officiating.
Burial will be in St. Teresa's Cemetery at Glennonville.
