Born Sept. 21, 1927, in Campbell, Mo., son of the late Edgar and Lula Marie Chase Vincent, he was a retired self-employed mechanic. He was a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church.
On May 6, 1946, in Piggott, Ark., he married Maxine Edmundson, who survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Brenda Hall and husband, Del, of Columbus, Kan.; two sons, Robert L. Vincent of Bernie and Phil Vincent of Bernie; two grandsons, Lucas R. Whitehead of Qulin, Mo. and Travis A. Vincent of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a granddaughter, Cheryl B. Yetley of Silver Springs, Md.; a brother, J.F. (Bud) Vincent of Michigan; a sister, Betty Dorsey of Indiana and two great-grandchildren, Tori and Lexi Yetley of Silver Springs, Md.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Vincent.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 9 at 1 p.m. at the Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell with the Rev. Bryan Johnson and Danny Collins officiating.
Burial was held at the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.
