Raymond Leon "Ray" Lidy, 59, of Kennett, formerly of Kokomo, Ind., died Friday, May 6, 2005, at his residence.

Born May 31, 1945, in Kokomo, he was a son of the late Clarence and Lois Prather Lidy.

Survivors include a son, Jay Lidy and wife, Teresa, of Peru, Ind.; a daughter, Tara Dennis and husband, Jerry, of Peru; companion Betty Rickman Lidy of Kennett; seven brothers, Rex Lidy and Danny Lidy of Peru, Donald Lidy of Marion, Ind., Roy Lidy of Sweetser, Ind., Jerry Lidy and bill Lidy of Russiaville, Ind. and John Lidy of Florida; two sisters, Joyce Harrington of Kokomo, Ind. and Janet Pearcy of Indianapolis, Ind.; four step-children, Vicky Hardy, Ron Rickman, Keith Rickman and Traci Burgess; five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Lidy.

Funeral services were held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Kokomo.

Bradshaw Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

A visitation and service is planned at a later time and date at Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo.
