Charles Rayburn Evans, 65, of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Aug. 28, 1939, in Senath, he was the son of the late Carl and Hatti Marie Oliver Evans.

On Dec. 19, 1967, in Kennett, he married Ava Benoit, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Jimmy Dale Evans and wife, Tracey, of Senath; four brothers, Carl Dayton Evans, of Senath, Jerry Don Evans, of Indiana, Chester Sullivan, of Piggott, Ark., and Thomas Depriest, of Kennett; two sisters, Deborah Kinnard, of Piggott and Shelby Holmes, of Kennett; five grandchildren, Paul, Jamie Lee, Cristy Gormly, Chantelle Gormly and John Gormly Evans and one great-grandchild, Kindred Maglynn Evans.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, May 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Brent Pierce officiating.

Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.
