Mary Magdalene Wardron, 87, of Kennett, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 4, 1917, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Letha Jackson Blazier.

In 1948, in Kennett, she married Jack Paul Wardron, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jim East; one brother, Paul Blazier and one sister, Marveline McElyea.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Wardron, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Larry East, of Parkville, Kan.; one daughter, Linda Avants, of Kennett; one sister, Bessie Ford, of Kennett; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, May 3, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Kenny Ford and the Rev. Gary Gelsinger officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Freddie Greenway, Tyler Stone, Tom Sebastin, Robert Wardron, Larry East and Bobby Harrison.
