Wylie Harmon

Wylie Gale Harmon, 63, of Rector, Ark., formerly of Kennett, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Aug. 29, 1941, in Keeler, Mich., he was the son of the late Wiley Dude and Rosa Viola Hail Harmon.

On Oct. 11, 1963, in Kennett, he married Alice Pauline Wake, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Aaron Harmon and wife, Shelly, of Rector; five daughters, Lisa, Amy and Haley Harmon and Robin Morris, all of Rector and Kelly Washburn, of Kennett; one brother, E.J. Carter, of Georgia; one sister, Janie Harmon Peterson and husband, Bob, of Kennett and 11 grandchildren, Anthony Bullinger, Brock Walker, Allison Harmon Duncan, Alexandria and Kelsey Washburn, Harmony Brown, Eric Harmon and Luke, Seth, Bud and Toby Morris.

He was preceded in death by two sons in infancy and one brother, Houston Carter.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Friday, April 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
