Beatrice Fowler Willis, 84, of Gonzales, La., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Gonzales.
Born April 7, 1921, in Bemis, Tenn., daughter of the late Arthur M. and Zonia Campbell Fowler, she was owner/operator of Bea's Beauty Bar and a member of the "Over 80 Club".
On March 1, 1941, in Kennett, she married Gene Willis, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, O.D. and Barnell Fowler.
Survivors include one son, Donald Willis and wife, Amanda, of Greenwood, Miss.; two daughters, Carolyn Johnson, of Gonazles and Jackie Stow and husband, Gary, of Bonne Terre, Mo.; eight grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Leroy Curry officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Randy, Larry, Sam, Richard and Bubba Fowler.
