Fannie Evia George, 95, of Kennett, formerly of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born June 24, 1909, in Lulu, Mo., daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Dolly Sue Norman, she was involved with the Lulu Baptist Church and the Faith Baptist Church in Senath.
Survivors include two sons, James Lee George, of Kennett and Larry Gene George, of Gonzales, Texas; one sister, Edna Mandrell, of Paragould, Ark., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Eva Nell; two brothers, Jim and Powell Norman; two sisters, Louise Marchbanks and Hellen Thurman and one grandson, Danny Gene George.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 18, at the Lulu Baptist Church with Brother J.E. Crews officiating.
Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jamie, Frankie, Michael, Chris, George and David Walls, Steve Morgan and Louis Scoggins.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
